Congratulations! You have booked your slot for a photoshoot with MRB.Clicks!! Now what?
Just kick your feet up, sit back and relax??
Yes, absolutely you can!! If only the following prep works are done and dusted :D
As soon as the photoshoot is booked (or at least 15 days before the shoot):
- Identify the main purpose of your photoshoot and discuss with your photographer for a suitable theme, venue, date/time, wardrobe/costumes and props that will make it pop.
- Pre-book / Purchase the necessary items / costumes as identified above. Discuss with your photographer on any alternatives that they can suggest / provide in case of non-availability.
- Scour the web for pictures that look closer to how you want your photos to be / aligns to your theme. Use them to create a pinterest board or save them to your digital photo album. (If this is done before #1 above will eliminate lot of back and forth discussions / ease up #2 as well)
- Check and confirm with your photographer that all the necessary items are taken care of and the shoot is confirmed.
A week before the shoot:
- Do your major hair-cutting/styling/dyeing, acne/facial treatments, scruff/stubble growth plan, etc.
- Check on your wardrobe/costumes and do any alterations it may need. Store them well and free from causing any kinks/wrinkles.
- Ensure the booked date/time is good for all of the subjects - especially when babies are involved (Tailor their routines to accommodate the shoot timing and start training them on that routine).
- Watch out for any alergy inducing items (and avoid them - at least until shoot)
Two days before the shoot (till the shoot day):
- Ensure all subjects are properly hydrated (i.e., drink appropriate/good amount of water)
- Ensure all subjects get good amount of sleep
